Outbound Telephony Dialer Analyst / Engineer,Job ID# 7610

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDESupport and enhancement of Dialer applications enterprise wide.
Participate in the analysis, design, development and testing of Dialer applications.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously from various business partners and adhere to design specs and aggressive deadlines. Provide 3rd level engineering support via on-call rotational pager support. Have the ability to understand our business and gather valid requirements from various business partners. Capable of implementing and maintaining Dialer solutions from these requirements and providing appropriate testing and end user documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. 3 years Dialer support experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Experienced in dealing face to face with multiple business partners and other teams within BT.
Windows 2000/XP experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Must be willing to travel as required.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Concerto/Davox specific platform experience.
Avaya ACD functionality and call flow experience.
Working knowledge of Telephony CTI.
Working knowledge of Unix/Solaris.
Java Programming Experience.
K and C-Shell Programming Experience.
PERL Programming Experience.
Prior experience with relational databases such as SYBASE, MySQL or Oracle.
