Duties and Responsibilities:

•Design and develop Oracle-based applications for large scale automated meter reading system (AMR) primarily using Pro*C, PLSQL, C++, and Java
•Conduct performance tuning of database applications
•Perform systems analysis and requirements definition related to projects involving AMR systems and Utility Information Systems including: outage management, customer information and billing systems, asset management
•Train and support operations and software quality assurance teams
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Masters preferred
•5+ years experience in Oracle development
•Candidate should be proficient in C/C++, Oracle 10g, Java, Pro*C, SQL tuning, PLSQL
•Scripting in Shell and Perl.
•Knowledge of Power Builder a plus
•Leadership/Mentoring quality is strongly desired
