Oracle Database Administrator

Our client company is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to do performance analysis on a database and application level. This position will be responsible for installing and upgrading Oracle database system software (Oracle 8i & 9i), including migration of database instances. Other duties include identifying, monitoring, recommending, and implementing changes to database applications to insure a satisfactory end-user response time and reliability in database connectivity, clustering, and performance tuning. Will also formulate and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management. Must prepare and/or review database activity, progress, and database/application performance reports.
