Oracle Applications Developer

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $95,000 per year Robert Half Technology is seeking an Oracle Developer for one of our Seattle clients.
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing internal systems features. The successful candidate will understand and analyze complex problems and implement robust and maintainable solutions with a focus on Oracle Applications. Excellent task management and problem solving skills are required for success in this position. A strong sense of ownership and responsibility are also critical. This position presents an outstanding opportunity to gain experience working with business process automation and reporting solutions in a successful and growing company.Responsibilities:Responsible for driving a project through all phases of the system development life cycle - requirements gathering and analysis, system design and development, testing and implementationConfigure and analyze Oracle applications modulesProvide production support activities for Oracle 11i ApplicationDevelop and maintain custom programs, reports, forms and workflowsSupport modules - financial, procure to pay, order to cashSupport users - troubleshoot application issues and develop creative solutions to support business needs
Requirements:2+ years experience working with the Oracle development toolkit (reports 6i, forms 6i, PL/SQL, workflow), developing solutions for Oracle Applications 11iOracle 11i Finance (GL, AP, AR), Inventory, Manufacturing, Order Management, Shipping and Purchasing modules experience preferredBackground in finance and accountingASP and Java development experience preferredStrong communication skills; must be able to work effectively on a small teamExperience with software development life cycles
