Optical Engineering Technician

Our client is a privately-held company headquartered in the west Los Angeles area, near Beverly Hills, that provides advanced electronic visualization engineering technologies for use in digital entertainment, display marketing, electronic engineering, biological science and research, as well as other industry engineering applications.Our client is looking for a lab technician who is experienced with using optical bench equipment, particularly light intensity readings using a photometer and a colorimeter.
Ideally this will be someone with flexible skills who can design and build test setups as well as write reports without help. This person should be capable of going in the field alone to run tests in theaters or to assist partners and customers with their measurements. Ideally, this person will be familiar with polarizers and how to characterize them, but this is not required.
