Operations Engineer Sr - ACC

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Engineer's primary purpose is to assure the safe and reliable operation of the production unit. While overseeing the safety and environmental compliance of these areas, the goal is to continually optimize the production capability, operating cost and product quality. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of reaction chemistry, neutralization, liquid extraction, crystallization, solids handling, distillation, filtration, along with various other unit operations. In addition this position requires thorough knowledge of PSM, redundant safety interlocks, and DCS control. REQUIREMENTS


B.S. Degree (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent), good process engineering skills, good communication skills, demonstrated teamwork skills, knowledge of HAZOP protocol and utilization of risk matrix.
