Oil and Gas/Energy Technology Specialist

Key Role: Gather data and conduct sophisticated analyses to identify issues critical to oil and gas and energy industry clients' strategic, marketing, organizational operations, restructuring, and technology needs. Compile, organize, and summarize facts and findings in order to develop conclusions and recommendations, preparing exhibits and presentations to graphically display and support analytical findings and conclusions. Act as an expert resource and support representative at client meetings and client presentations. Interact directly with all levels of client management and the organizational hierarchy with respect to engagements and assignments. Perform compilations and data analyses involving considerable client interviewing and requiring a keen ability to process and research complex statistical and computational data. Analyze client operations and organizational and marketing strategies, perform competitive analysis to determine market data, industry performance, and business trends, and, using this analysis, formulate strategy proposals to solve client problems and identify new or better business development plans. Act as a core and front office process and technology improvement expert, leveraging leading methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma. Reach out to the broader operations community, leveraging and sharing expertise to support the marketing effort and the development of the firm's thinking, and build a track record of solid project delivery, superior client relationship building, and strong team spirit.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in the oil and gas or energy industry

-Experience with performing technology implementation, management of technical engagements and teams, project management, information and knowledge management, SAP Enterprise Portal, Documentum, eRoom, and Open Text Livelink

-MBA required

-PMP Certification
