Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for translating customer business requirements into high quality designs within agreed timeframes utilizing the functional knowledge of products and services.

The following describes specific responsibilities for this role, which should include but are not limited to:

•Following the software product development process as defined by

•Reading and understanding blueprint documents which include:
•Business use cases
•High level description
•Entity relationship diagrams
•Upgrade ramifications
•Data setup requirements
•Implementation guidelines
•Complex or non-standard user interface design
•Creating external design documents which include:
•Fully described logical data models
•Required system data
•User interface mock-up
•Description of business rules
•Pseudo-code for complex processes
•Implementation data setup requirements
•Identification of conversion impacts not described in the blueprint document
•Identification of upgrade impacts not described in the blueprint document
•Implementation guidelines not described in the blueprint document
•Making modifications described in internal design documents which include:
•Creating metadata
•Programming business logic
•Using approved development tools
•Creating/modifying user interfaces
•Creating/modifying reports
•Creating/modifying application interfaces
•Supporting quality assurance
•Fixing bugs in application modifications
•Fixing existing application bugs
•Describing changes made to the product to fix application bugs in a product fix docume
•Supporting sales
•Programming system modifications to be used in product demonstrations
•Gaining proficiency in most functional areas of an application
•Understanding the business and business drivers
•Comprehensive understanding of application functionality
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required:

•Expert knowledge of 3rd normal form and entity relationship diagrams
•Understanding of the application framework
