Network Technician The job - We are an established IT support firm looking for a Network Technician to provide network support to operational computer networks.

Job Description:

Assemble and configure network components and associated services.

Set-up and maintain basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provide assistance to the network administrator.

Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.

Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.

Install, upgrade and configure network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services.

Provide users with network technical support.

Establish network users, user environments, directories and security for networks being installed.

Install and test necessary software and hardware.

Technical high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or one to three months’ related experience/training.

Experience in the administration of Microsoft Office products.

Familiarity with VOIP and Citrix programs a plus.
