Network Systems Engineer Successful

Network Systems Engineer Successful candidate will be responsible for the reliability, availability and security of campus network systems as a hands-on supervisor of junior technicians and administrators. Required: Bachelors degree with 5 yrs experience in multi-layer campus networking; 3 yrs experience with Windows Active Directory and other enterprise protocols and applications; 3 yrs of management experience; MCP, CCDA or CCNA certification; knowledge and skills in Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003, high availability/clustering, enterprise backup applications, DNS, DHCP and SMTP, system recovery techniques and solutions, IDS/IPS technologies, analysis and monitoring of network traffic and bandwidth, and advanced knowledge and understanding of SAN environments, LAN switching, routing, wireless technologies and firewalls; excellent customer service skills; strong written and oral communication skills; and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
