COMSYS is currently seeking a Network Support Engineer for a contract position located in Reston, VA, the contract is expected to go through the end of the year with a strong possibility of going longer.

Job Description: Receive, analyze, monitor and resolve network problems in a timely fashion with minimal guidance from higher level technicians or supervisor.
Responsible for port assignments, troubleshooting, and provisioning of Frame Relay, Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Network-Based VPN, Multi-Protocol Label PLS and DSL circuits.
Interact with external customers/organizations to facilitate order process flow.
Provide helpdesk support on terms/tables, expedites, change alerts, and hotcuts.
Provide reports and stats on order progress.
Position may require weekend, shift, and/or on-call support.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements: Associates' degree in related field or equivalent.
Minimum 4 yrs related telecommunications experience or 2 yrs NOS II with satisfactory or better performance or Associates' degree plus 2 yrs industry experience.
