Network Planning Engineer

Purpose: Our client, a leading provider for wireless communications in the Richmond, VA area is looking for a Network Planning Engineer to work a 6 month contract-to-hire position.

Job responsibilities include developing data models for the network planning. Creating and analyzing Traffic reports for the various elements of the network and analyzing capacity reports including switch traffic statistics.

Qualified candidates must be able to translate data into requirements, and have a strong background in capacity planning.

Knowledge of Nortel GSM switch, Ericsson soft switch and Ericsson BSC's are required.

Strong background in WIRELESS technologies is required!
