Network Engineer - Senior

The ideal candidate will have a very strong background with Microsoft products. This role will primarily be a support/ operations role that would include supporting our production environment on a daily basis through incident and problem management.

Primary support will include Windows 2000 and 2003 servers, MS Exchange 2000/2003, IIS, Live Communications Server, Sharepoint, MS Clustering Services, etc. Other responsibilities would include supporting blade Servers (HP or Dell), Bluecoat (proxy) administration, Clearswift's Mimesweeper (mail scrubbing utility), Enterprise Symantec Antivirus Administration and Patch Management.

This individual will respond to complex technical hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Answers customer support questions. Provides network server support. Prepares, installs and maintains file, print, and application servers. Supports Firewall software and maintains Internet access. Provides primary interface with vendor support service groups. Provides internal analysis and support. Provides guidance and training to less experienced technicians.
