Network Engineer

Purpose: TEKsystems has partnered with a client who is looking for a Network Engineer for their Wheeling, WV location.

On a day-to-day basis, this individual will coordinate and administer server hardware and software implementations, including servers, peripherals, the Network Operating System (NOS), and specific software applications. This individual will also provides project leadership to a team for the design, testing and implementation of new technology.

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. The qualified candidate will also possess a solid understanding of and experience with Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 server, 2003 Active Directory, Exchange 2003 and Cluster services, HP and/or EMC SAN solutions. Professional certification such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), SAN Architect Certified , Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is desired.
