Modality Sourcing Leader, Sourcing Organization

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: SourcingResponsibilities: Build your career and experience the advantages that come with working for the "World's Most Admired Company" (Fortune magazine) offering significant opportunities for growth and career advancement.In this role, the Modality Sourcing Leader will focus on all Supply Chain issues pertaining to New Product Introductions for suppliers and products within the IITS (Integrated IT Solutions) product portfolio, as well as current production component obsolescence and quality. This includes responsible for:
Participate in an exciting, cross-functional Operations team responsible for the primary interface between Development teams and the Global Operations organization.
Program management of all NPI deliverables required to establish an optimal supply chain for each product launch.
Drive implementation of target cost and should cost initiatives to meet CM targets on assigned NPIs.
Champion early supplier involvement in the NPI process and ensure excellence in supplier selection, component specification, producibility reviews & vitality reviews. Key metrics include on-time NPI launch, $ spend with strategic suppliers, productivity (ICV, VCP, Variance, PWA vitality) for production parts.
Leadership in driving supply chain management, supporting a mission critical and very visible MICT product.
This position has global responsibility for integrating Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Supplier activity.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical related field.
5 plus years experience in manufacturing engineering, sourcing or engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets development and analysis.
Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time.*You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Desired: *Working experience with development and production with Medical Devices.
Effective problem solving ability to lead and influence others (cross-functionally and globally).
Demonstrate strong execution skills and ability to drive change globally.
Experience with eNPI, ePDM and Oracle systems.
Strong understanding of Computer Technology and Software Solutions.
MBA or Master Degree in Technical field.
