Mission Analysis Lead

3D Research Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schafer Corporation has an opportunity for a Mission Analysis Lead professional to work at a customer site in Fairlakes, Virigina. This position will encompass program management and will lead a team with a broad spectrum of technical experience and capabilities.This position will provide systems engineering analysis experience on a large booster program and perform analysis experience on complex program(s) with diverse requirements.Responsibilities include: managing the SE&I Mission Analysis group within the Element Analysis sub-IPT; directing a team of broad spectrum engineering staff in the execution of Mission level performance analysis and Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) integration assessments. There is a strong emphasis on the interaction of the KEI Element with the overall BMDS. conducting a detailed system assessments to evaluate the contribution of the KEI Element to the BMDS; and, overseeing analysis of existing and future targets of opportunity providing relevant data to the program. When applicable, this role will work with each Component IPT to determine potential cross IPT implications and direct cross IPT analysis efforts. This position will also develop long-term task plans and schedules as well as detailed near-term task plans and schedules. The ability to prioritize incoming tasking, establish objectives, determine resources required, and direct development of task plans and schedules is also a key responsibility of this role.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include: A Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline and a minimum of 8 years experience. Experience with systems engineering level analysis of design and alternatives. Experience assessing resource requirements, developing and prioritizing schedule, and managing customer expectations.Experience executing a program with cross-organizational working groups.
