Mfg Engineer

1Work closely with all sites Engineering groups to define requirements of manufacture traceability, consolidate all site data in one central data repository, and define method of usage trace data to benefit mfg.2Work with Global and Site IT teams to coordinate software development3Coordinate development and implementation phases for any traceability project.4Provide input and guidance to the Manufacturing training team on how to conduct training for the manufacturing traceability system5Daily monitoring of the manufacturing traceability system, publish daily and weekly metrics to indicate how well the overall system, and each one if its sub-systems are working releases6Testing of new solfware releases, install and implement new software releases at the site7Identify and report bugs, and request additional system features to the WW Manufacturing Traceability system coordinator8Identify source of errors, correct data errors if possible, and define corrective actions (process related software related,?.) to eliminate errors9Support overall organizational objectives10Must be eligible to work within the US. Must have the ability and willingness to travel globally with little or no notice1Good understanding of Manufacturing equipment and PCB assembly process2Capable to create queries, reports using database tools (MS Access, Oracle), ExcelIn-depth hands-on experience with locating and evaluating technical electronic component information via component data books, component supplier WEB-sites, interfacing with component supplier technical reps., etc.3Hand-on person, willing to spend the majority of the time in the manufacturing floor (including NPI), and support manufacturing operations in a 24x7 environment4Good understanding of manufacturing equipments that interrelate with Process Traceability system such as WaveSolder , Reflow Oven and Temperature Profiles for those equipments5Good written, verbal communication skills and good team player6 Good personal organizational skills
