Member Technical Staff, HEMT Engineer

The HEMT technology development section is seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer to participate in the advancement of GaAs, InP, and GaN HEMT technologies. Responsibilities include the design, layout, testing, and modeling of MMIC’s and related test structures. The applicant should have a strong understanding of HEMT semiconductor device technology, MMIC design, test methodologies, and be capable of developing test plans and analyzing measurement results. Additional responsibilities include managing HEMT process development projects, managing HEMT foundry runs, and providing foundry customer support. The applicant should work well as a team member and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience are preferred. The applicant should have knowledge of software packages associated with MMIC design including ADS, Sonnet, Momentum, IE3D, HFSS, and Cadence.
