Medical Systems Engineer Lead

Solectron Corporation is seeking a senior level Medical Systems Engineer to be responsible for the development of medical device systems. Tasks include the development of System Design, Hardware and Software Architectures, System Requirements/Specifications, System Integration Plans and System Verification/Validations Plan. You will support the sales, marketing and program office in the development of new business and provide system level engineering support to customers. You will also be responsible for the supervision of a 3-5 system engineering team. This position is located in Charlotte, NC.
RequirementsBSEE/MSEE, Physics of Computer Science, with a minimum of 5-10 years of medical product development experience in the following areas: Electrical design; PC board layout; Physical Design; Firmware Design; Application Software
A minimum of 5 years experience in the system level medical product development in the following areas: System design; Functional partitioning; Error Budgeting; Hardware Architecture; Software Architecture; Specification Development; System Integration; Verification and Validation
3-5 experience in the management of system engineering team. 3-5 experience project management. A thorough knowledge of FDA design requirements, processes, procedures and regulations.
