Medical Manufacturing Engineer

Purpose: An established start up, medical device company is looking for a manufacturing engineer to help take catheter-like products from development to production. This individual will be responsible for the development of manufacturing processes and production for a new minimally invasive surgical product

On a day to day basis, he or she will:
-Provide support to cross functional teams
-Development and implement new strategies for clean room assembly, design process flow and control systems
-Develop ownership of manufacturing process documentation
-Identify and execute process validation
-Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
-Troubleshoot and resolve assembly related issues
-Identify and resolve production, inspection and/or assembly related bottlenecks for raw materials
-Evaluate and recommend design changes, specifications and product materials

To qualify for this opportunity, one must:
-Strong background in manufacturing systems for CathetersExperience in clean room and sterilization environments
-Experience in start-up environment
-Solid works experience
-Injection molded part experience
-Winding and braiding equipment experience

Compensation:
$80,000-$90,000 Year
