Mechanical Engineering Technician (2nd and 3rd shifts)

Bartech Technical Services, is looking for qualified, Mechanical Engineering Technicians.

The main objectives of this position is to:

Responsible for performance and endurance testing on multiple and single cylinder engine components and subsystems

Operates data acquisition systems;
reviews data for appropriateness;
interprets results;
makes necessary adjustments;
documents and defines data collected
Includes engine builds and tear downs;
component measurement
data acquisition
diagnosis of engine, component, subsystem and test cell problems
fabrication work
installation and instrumentation of engines and components in test cells, test rigs and/or vehicles
Designs and documents test plans
prepares test reports to include findings, conclusions and recommendations
Requires independent, creative thinking enabling the Technician to conduct preliminary analysis of data and develop preliminary conclusions and recommendations for further action
REQUIREMENTS
This is a direct hire opportunity for the right individual.

AS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) w/2yrs experience
or
BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical perferred) w/Lab or Intern perience
Ability to pass a test on general knowledge of engines, math and physics

This position is 2nd and 3rd shift continuous (7 days on 4 off/8 days on 2 off).
MUST PROVIDE OWN TOOLS IF HIRED.
