Mechanical Engineering Supervisor

Purpose: Manufacturer in Wausau is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to manage their Mechanical Engineering department.

In this role, you will be working very closely with the President of the company on projects involving hydraulics, pneumatics and cylinder design. This is a management position and you will be responsible for a group of about 5 engineers/designers/drafters. In addition to managing the designers/drafters, you will at times assist in producing designs and raw materials lists. This is a very hands on position!

Qualified candidates will have their Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Experience in a design engineer role, or mechanical engineer role including time spent designing, are desired. Supervisory experience is NOT required. Experience in the fluid power industry working with hydraulics and pneumatics is a must!
