Mechanical Engineer with Pro-E

Our client, one of the world's top suppliers of food processing systems, is
seeking a Pro-E Design Engineer. The position is as follows:

Position: Pro-E/Wildfire Design Engineer
Temporary to Permanent
Location: Madera, CADegree required
Salary: $70,000-$75,000

Basic Function:

To review and create mechanical designs, drawings and
specifications involving existing and new technology for food processing
equipment

Use Pro/Engineer, Pro/Intralink, and AutoCAD to provide high
quality equipment designs & drawings at the lowest possible cost

Manage all technical aspects & staffing needs of custom equipment
orders
Effectively interact with all functional areas of the business


TIMES OF OPERATION:
Exempt position. Typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 7:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. At times, weekend and off-hour work will be required to
support customer and business needs.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with
an emphasis in machine design. 5+ years experience with a professional
engineering license (PE) preferred.



Ability to use 2D/3D CAD Systems

Ability to read, interpret and prepare applicable technical
information and suggest design/process changes to ensure simple, functional
and cost effective results

Ability to communicate within a team environment

Ability to analyze and interpret data

Ability to anticipate potential problems and take preventative
actions

Ability to use MRP based business system, ManMan or equivalent

Knowledge of modern scheduling tools

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working safely is a condition of employment. Approximately 90 percent (90%)
of all work is performed in an office setting, 5 percent (5%) on the shop
floor and 5 percent (5%) traveling to various sites. Extended periods of
time will be at a computer terminal. Possible exposure to hazards such as
noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc. while working
in assembly areas and field service applications.
