Mechanical Engineer II

Purpose: Redmond aerospace company is searching for a Mechanical engineer to Work within the engineering group to create designs, specify components, and develop BOM?s.

Job description:

-Research and analyze data such as customer source control documents, specifications, and statement of work documents to determine feasibility of design
-Evaluate designs for functionality, manufacturability, structural, thermal, and EMI effectiveness
-Utilize Finite Element Analysis techniques
-Coordinate with Program Managers, Designers, Drafters, Manufacturing, Marketing. Customers and Suppliers on projects
-Direct and coordinate fabrication and assembly activities to ensure products conform to design and customer specifications
-Evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendors
-Assist in the preparation of estimates, engineering change orders, schedules, and budgets
-Provide mechanical engineering support during the production process including MRB evaluations
-Review MIL-STD and other industry standards
-Assist in preparing and maintaining departmental policies, procedures and work instructions
-Conduct quality checks of drawings, documents and reports, verifying accuracy of data, information and calculations

Job requirement:

-BSME
-3 years of mechanical design experience
