Mechanical Engineer (Hotel)

Purpose: COMPANY BACKGROUND : - Small 5 person Mechanical and Electrical consulting firm specializing in the hotel business. They do work with a hotel management and ownership company that has asked them to be their exclusive design and inspection company for at least 5 years.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The Engineer will be performing work for hotels around the country from both a renovation, planning, design and inspection standpoint. There will be a lot of client interface and interaction.

- There will be involved - up to 65% travel around the country for inspecting and performing design work for the hotel clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4-6 years in Mechanical Engineering with a background in hotels - HVAC, boilers, plumbing, piping, etc.

- AutoCAD is not a requirement, but sometimes will be used for designing.

- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

- Estimating experience is a plus, but not 100% required.

- HOTEL KOWLEDGE IS A MUST. Must have some knowledge in the hotel industry in a related Mechanical Engineering field.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
