Mechanical Engineer

Education:
BSE in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited UniversityExperience:
Three or more years experience in a mechanical engineering disciplines relating to design, maintenance and plant operations.
Proficiency in basic mechanical principles involving mechanics, hydraulics, machining, and welding
"Hands-on" trouble-shooting skills, roll forming equipment, power transmission, pumps and motors, presses and feed systems
An Understanding in systematic problem solving utilizing a diverse technical team
Proficient with CAD systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
Experience in project management, IT systems, databases and intranet is a plus REQUIREMENTS
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain daily plant and production operations
Develop working knowledge of roll and cutoff tooling designs
Designs, plan, and install new equipment.
Develop new technological applications to process and production lines.
Interface with all plant functional groups.
Interface equipment from various manufactures to form a complete process.
Eliminate hazards on new and existing equipment and processes.
Prepare capital expenditure requests which include justification, identifying potential suppliers, site selection and preparation, installation plan, continuous interface with OEM, and equipment installation and startup.
