Materials Manager

Global consumer products manufacturer with a facility in Southwest AZ is seeking a Materials Manager.
We are seeking a Materials Manager to oversee the inventory planning and control, warehousing, and material handling functions for the company; as well as develop and implement material mgmt strategies, policies, and procedures. Additional duties – drive supplier improvement: cost, quality, delivery, and inventory. Lead the inventory process, including physical inventory, cycle counting, class-A warehouse, auditing plant materials systems like Kanban and MRP, etc. Direct the Materials organization to ensure fair and consistent discipline, and maintain high employee morale
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Materials Mgmt, Business or related field with 10 years of inventory and materials planning experience. Exp with MRP/ERP, demand flow, distribution methods and materials mgmt. APICS CPIM and ISM C.P.M. certifications preferred.
