Job Description

As a member of the Materials Team, work with partners/customers in R&D, Sourcing, Procurement, Production, Production Engineering, and Planning, to participate on project teams, to develop, and to implement processes in support of Materials strategies and goals.

Act as the primary technical contact with suppliers in support of the wide variety of topics linking our businesses, including part and sub-assembly designs/specifications, verifications, revisions, release schedules, supplier capability, sourcing decisions, tooling, material cost, process changes, quality/performance, and discontinuance.

Ensure supplier effectiveness in the areas of cost, quality, delivery, and inventory for all new and current product initiatives.

This is a generalist role supporting multiple components and processes.

Seasoned, experienced professional. Fully qualified career oriented.

In-depth knowledge of operational objectives in Supply Chain/Manufacturing Engineering
Previous experience in Medical Product Manufacturing
Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to works independently under general supervision with little instruction on day-to-day work and only general instructions on new assignments.

Proven ability to manage a wide variety of multitasking and priority setting.

Proven track record of successfully managing problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Proven ability to demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Ability to interacts with senior internal and external personnel.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience
