Marine Electrical Designer/Engineer

Purpose: Aerotek is currently looking for Marine Electrical Designer/Engineer to work in Arlington, VA.


Requirements:
- Senior Marine Electrical Designer or Junior Marine Electrical Engineer
- Some AutoCAD Experience with Naval/Marine Vessels
- Experienced with Electric Plant Load Analysis

- Experience with the following is a plus:
a.) Electrical 1 line diagrams
b.) Lighting Analysis
c.) Development of a communications matrix (i.e. naval phone system)
d.) Fault Current Analysis
e.) Familiarity with switchboards
f.) Design experience down to electric load centers

Candidates must have good communication skills, as there will be some level of customer/vendor interface. In addition, this candidate will likely assist with the electrical portion of some proposals.
