Team Leader - Manufacturing EngineeringJoin a growing, world leading manufacturer of class III medical devices in a high profile, management role!This person is responsible for delivering on all related goals as well as Operations objectives through the management of a cross-functional manufacturing team.•Manages a team consisting of several Technical Specialists, a Material Control Specialist, Fabrication Specialists, and Generalists to achieve excellence in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safely, and Morale.•Ensure that the product/process will meet or exceed the requirements of our internal and external customer.•Provide strategic direction to the team over 3 shifts to meet their daily production goals & milestones.•Engage in problem solving in complex situations and process improvements in streamlining work processes.•Actively manage the performance of team members including writing and delivering performance appraisals and taking disciplinary action when warranted.•Own and deliver team’s annual budget.•Perform primary hiring functions.•Manage, coach, mentor and develop the assigned team.•Work closely with the Operations Team and fellow Team Leaders to deliver consistent guidance and development to team members.
REQUIREMENTS
Team Leader - Manufacturing Manager•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related discipline is required.•An MBA with related engineering/manufacturing experience is a plus.•3+ years experience managing and leading people, within a focused-factory environment in a regulated industry. (medical, auto, aerospace, etc)•Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to teach and coach individuals with diverse backgrounds with varying language and technical skills.•Experience leading project teams and using project management tools preferred.•Must be PC literate and have a strong knowledge of planning systems/approaches and measurement tools.•Strong analytical skills with a high problem solving and process improvement orientation are critical.•Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.•Must be challenged by a team-based environment which places high degree of emphasis on accountability for customer service levels, inventory management, cost reduction and quality/GMP compliance.Please send your resume in a Word doc. format to [Click here for email]MUST SEND SALARY HISTORY WITH RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
