Manufacturing Group Leader - Material & Process Engineering

Job Description:
Responsible for daily operations of assigned Technical and functional areas. Assures compliance to Engineering, Quality, and company policies. Actively promotes company safety, product quality, delivery schedules and employee performance. Develops and sustains a positive and safe working environment. Establishes performance objectives for his / her employees and is accountable for group performance. Communicates with direct reports on individual performance, and department information. Coordinates with our customers and direct reports to meet scheduled deliveries. Provides input to annual expense budget, personnel forecasts and input to capital equipment budget. Prepares and submits requests for group supplies and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires skills in leadership, communication and motivation. Prefer 3-5 years of applicable experience. Green Belt in Textron Six Sigma or willingness to achieve this certification.
Education: B.S. Manufacturing or Technical background in area of responsibility.
Technical and Supervisory experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelors.
