Owens Corning is looking for energetic, highly motivated, and self starting multitasking individuals for our Jackson, Tennessee facility. Manufacturing Engineer
This position reports to the Plant Technical Leader and will be responsible for, but not limited to: establishing and maintaining safe
work processes, involvement in establishing employee training requirements, tracking area metrics, developing operating budgets,
controlling costs, improving equipment reliability/efficiency, leading the employees in the associated process area, and providing continual improvement while working to eliminate waste. The successful candidate
will have: proven excellence in project/program management, effective
communication skills, lean manufacturing techniques experience, a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, BS in Engineering, and leadership capabilities. It is critical that the candidate be flexible and has the ability to engage employees as a change agent. Six Sigma Green / Black Belt and ISO9001 experience is a must.

Operator Technician
Individuals in this position are responsible for operating a continuous glass forming process. The successful candidates must have: a commitment to safety, good housekeeping, and environmental regulations; ability to work 12 hour shifts, lift up to 60 lbs., and the ability to operate
powered equipment and interface with computers. A high school diploma or
equivalent is required. Experience in a glass forming manufacturing environment is preferred.
