Manufacturing Engineer , CNC Machining Fabrication Aerospace

Everett based Aerospace Mechanical Assembly and Aircraft Parts developer and manufacturer has immediate need for experienced Manufacturing Engineer to design and plan layout for machining, processing, assembly, and material handling. Reviews and recommends changes to engineering drawings to improve producability. Plans sequence of operations for production of company products. Creates efficient manufacturing process planning from complex blueprints and sketches. Reviews engineering designs and drawings and recommends changes to provide for improved producability and to best utilize existing machine tools and equipment. Develops production drawings and planning documents to establish sequence of operations in the production of company products. Investigates and recommends resolution of production problems and works with operations personnel in implementing changes. Develops modifications to machine tools and existing processes to adapt to new requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires 5 plus years experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering. Must have in-depth knowledge of production and processing techniques and procedures and tools, dies, fixtures, and equipment used. Must have extensive experience with CNC machining centers, milling (Horizontal Mills preferred) and lathe machines, BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering desired or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial or manufacturing technology. Aerospace Manufacturing, Assembly, Fabrication a plus.
