Manufacturing Engineer

Due to business growth, Bradley Corporation, a world-class leader in the manufacturing of commercial plumbing fixtures in the Milwaukee area is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to our manufacturing team. This highly motivated individual will be instrumental in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects and activities throughout the manufacturing operation. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be able to provide technical assistance to product designers, quality engineers, and factory employees. In addition you will serve as the expert in areas of process development and documentation, rate setting, drawing structure, design for manufacturability, interchangeable parts, cost and inventory reduction, packaging, and documentation control. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys the freedom of running his or her own projects while having the support of a strong manufacturing team. The salary range for this position is $50,000-60,000.

Primary responsibilities include:
·Taking an active role in the development and support of Bradley’s Strategic plan.
·Engineering new and existing processes to establish the safest working conditions for our employees.
·Driving new product development through manufacturing process including cost reduction efforts.
·Creating and maintaining all manufacturing methods, process documentation, and assisting in the training of employees.
·Managing project tracking systems for monthly updates including maintaining major projects using a Gantt chart. Is responsible for identifying the What, Who and When for all manufacturing driven projects
·Establishing standard cycle times and the development and maintenance of a standards database used to develop accurate routings.
·Analyzing and making recommendations for workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
·Developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods including the design and sub-contract design for all tooling/fixtures/dies. Generates Tool Room work orders and manages completion of projects.
·Processing Engineering Change requests, rework orders, specials and raw material specification sheets, including having all required NCN programming complete for production.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will possess:
·3-5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
·An independent work stile driven by a strong initiative.
·An Associate’s Degree in a related field. A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
·Strong CNC Systems experience.
·Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
·Experience setting manufacturing rates.
·Proven leadership and team building skills.
·Prior experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
·Strong computer skills including Excel
