Manufacturing Engineer

MechoShade Systems, Inc., an international manufacturer of manual/motorized sunscreen shading systems, has an excellent opportunity for a task-oriented Manufacturing Engineer at our Phoenix, AZ location. Responsibilities include:
-Evaluating and improving manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing techniques
-Conducting studies in operations to maximize work flow and efficiency
-Identifying and designing parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals and quality standards
-Ensuring plant efficiency and workplace safety
-Creating and maintaining visual work instructions
-Assisting with development of Quality Management System
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of Industrial or Manufacturing experience and experience with Lean methodologies. Must have good communication skills (written and verbal), be customer-focused, take initiative, and do occasional heavy lifting (30 lbs). Engineering or Technical degree required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
