Manufacturing Engineer

Review newly developed work instructions to ensure proper
documentation by Coordinating with manufacturing engineering staff.

Ensures the identification and implementation of the correct
technologies and manufacturing processes in support of the type design.

Uses process engineering principles understands manufacturing
configurations.

Reviews sequence of operations to ensure correct
tooling, hardware, and facilities are identified.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of design, improvement, and installation of
integrated systems of people, materials, equipment, and methods.

Knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems).

Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines (e.g., Fabrication, Assembly, Tooling, Quality, Industrial Engineering,
Manufacturing Engineering).

Knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-operations processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Logistics).
