Manufactoring Engineer

1. Provide shop floor support during on-going production.

2. Must read, understand and be able to explain Engineering Drawings to Production Employees.

3. Must have a understanding of process data.

4. Basic PC skills, with the ability to learn our JD Edwards system and e-viewer drawing system.

5. Must be able to create and edit work instructions.

6. Must be able to communicate with Production Employees, Supervisors and other Manufacturing Engineers.

7. Background in welding, painting and assembly processes is required.

8. Will be required to perform basic parts fit-up and packaging operations in the shop during new process development or process improvement activities,

9. Plant safety and ergonomics experience would be a plus.

10. CAD design and drafting background would be a plus.

11. Quality Control experience would be a plus.

12. Tooling design or fabrication would be a plus.

13. 6 -12 month assignment
REQUIREMENTS
1. 3+ years experience with direct mfg. / assembly experience

2. Heavy industry preferred
