Manager Process Technology US

This position is responsible for performing a diverse set of industrial engineering tasks that support a manufacturing group within a continuous improvement environment. Will lead and participate in production and administrative continuous improvement initiatives. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement standard work processes that align with and focus toward continuous improvement goals such as cost reduction, lead time and inventory reduction, volume optimization, improved facility utilization and layout, reduced rework, etc. Goals are focused in 4 key areas: Safety, Quality, Supply/Productivity and Cost.
Develop and maintain labor standards; use learning curves, manpower forecasting and measurement
Maintain effective liaison with Finance, Quality, Technology transfer and manufacturing management by providing metrics and/or cost/performance reports (OEE) for Day to Day visibility of program status.Support and/or consult with functional staff members performing assessments on proposed continuous improvement events.We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar technical discipline and a minimum of 6-8 years experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment with at least 4 years of continuous improvement background. Good working knowledge of PC application software.
Strong analytical, statistical analysis, and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of DMAIC problem solving tools and FDA Quality Systems regulations. (QSR’s)
ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, or Certified Quality Engineer
