Manager Global Server and Client Computing Systems
The managers role is to plan,organize, manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT server,storage and client system environments.This includes developing,maintaining,supporting and optimizing key functional areas,particularly server infrastructure,storage infrastructure and client(end-user)systems. The Manager will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems to minimize business disruption.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal person will posses project management ,vendor management, and technical experience in the areas of Dell server hardware, blade server technology,Windows server,Windows Active Directory, virtualization technologies ( VMWare ESX,VMotion,Virtual Center) and SAN technologies( Cisco SAN switching, EMC Symmetrix, EMC Clarions).
Ensure server and client systems are properly patched with security updates and with anti-virus/firewall software.
Prepare RFP'S,bid proposals,contracts and other documentation for infrastructure projects.
Participate in the development of IT strategies with other managers and CIO.
Conduct performance reviews,merit reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
