Maintenance Technician Job -> International food manufacturing plant in southern Washington state seeks a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC. Required: Associate of Arts Degree or Technical Degree and 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic. Candidate must have a valis drivers license, ability to write routine reports and speak effectively to transfer information, math skills include the ability to determine percentages, area, volume and circumference, and ability to lift weights up to 100 pounds. Desired: Mechanical aptitude, welding skills, fork-lift operator, hand tool knowledge, and machine shop knowledge. Duties: The Maintenance Mechanic will participate in performing mechanical duties on industrial equipment. He/she will utilize blueprints, schematics, and other piping and instrumentation drawings to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot processing equipment and machinery such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines equipment. Other duties include welding functions including Stick, Tig, and Mig and set up of operating lathe, mill, drill press, grinder and other tools to make and repair parts.
