Maintenance Engineering Manager

In order to maintain a Quality Class A environment the position will comply with all Corporate GQDs and guidelines, Swiftwater Site Quality Operations SOPs / SWIs and all other departmental procedures and rules specified to the area they are working in. The position / candidate must have all the necessary qualifications, on-the job training, GMP training and accreditations required, in order to optimize and federate the quality requirements within the whole company.Equipment/System modifications and PM review/modification, to improve operation, uptime, efficiency, etc., or to decrease parts usage, specific breakdown type, labor hours and equipment cost of operation. Also, the position will include being a liaison with the Engineering department where it will be required to review all new projects for long term maintenance needs. This will include such things as equipment, parts usage, (both manufacturer/model and application), maintenance access, training accessment needs, installation correlation to design (or the subsequent documentation with as built drawings and commissioning), spare parts recommendation, preventative maintenance requirements (along with the need for any special tooling and labor requirements). Finally, this position will help substitute for the Maintenance Managers when one (or more of them) is offsite or unavailable. This will require personnel work direction, priority decisions, etc. It will also require input on the personnel appraisals of the technicians/mechanics that the engineer has worked with during that time period.Equipment/system review, analysis and design for modification to improve total overall equipment value.

REQUIREMENTS
BS ME/EE/CE with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing setting acting in engineering capacity for Maintenance improvements of equipment operation.
