Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Job -> Engineering and construction company has a major LNG project and has immediate need for three Maintenance Development Engineers at its Houston location. Positions are contract and are expected to run for 18 months. Ideal candidate will have BS Engineering and 10 - 12 years experience in Oil and Gas maintenance and planning department with an industry leader and will be very familiar with maintenance practices and procedures and how to develop them.. Experience in offshore working is a further advantage. Knowledge of modern CMMS/SAP is essential. Spare parts management expereience necessary. The maintenance development engineer is an executing engineer who guides the EPC contractor's in the procedure identification / classification, data collection, collation and finally writing of the procedures and O & M manuals/SOP's. Will develop maintenance procedures and work aids to include topside facility, GBS, pipeline and tanks. Individual must be proficient in MS Office suite of programs, Lotus Notes and other applicable programs. Oil Industry expereience needed.
