Machinist

Machinist Job - Immediate start ! Our Client is seeking multiple candidates responsible for operations of CNC Lathes, ID/OD Grinders and Milling machines just south of Portland . Qualified candidates must have machining experience, be able to work from layouts and dimensions on drawings. Prefer experience with machining tools. NOT looking for press break operators or sheet metal fabricators. A successful candidate will have the ability to load, align, and set up machines per drawing instructions and maintain quality production records, plus ability to read blue prints.
Must be familiar with G code CNC programming language. The position requires candidates to posses either an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. There is 8 % increase in hourly pay for swing shifts. ONLY 4 DAY WORK WEEK ( 10 hours/day). Salary commensurate with experience!
