Machinery Control Systems Engineer

Purpose: Aerotek is currently looking for a senior engineer of Machinery Controls to work in Alexandria, VA. This position will be responsible for leading and managing projects/tasks/associated with machinery control systems on board Navy ships. Candidates will also provide expert technical advise to clients and respond quickly and accurately to their needs.

Requirements:
-BS degree in engineering or a related field
-7 years of general experience in Navy Ship Design and/or Operation.
-3 years of specific experience with Navy ship machinery control systems.
-Familiarity with and understanding of Navy ship design process.
-Ability to obtain a Security clearance

-PMP certification is a plus but not necessary.
