MS SQL Database Administrator

My client is seeking a seasoned MS SQL DBA to add to a very team oriented production environment. The selected MS SQL DBA will have strong skill in architecture, capacity planning, scalability and hands-on knowledge with Microsoft clustering experience. The Administrator must support the established documented standards, policies and procedures that meet SOX requirements. A strong background in project managent background is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable. Five or more years of experience installing and supporting MS-SQL and/or Oracle databases. Experience installing and supporting Oracle 9iAS/AS10g Application Server, along with Webutil and associated technologies. Experience with Oracle internal data dictionary structure. Five or more years experience managing technical disciplines, including experience with major projects and extensive knowledge of hardware, software and network communications. Demonstrated track record of implementing, documenting and complying to standards, policies and procedures. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills. Detail oriented, with commitment to quality. The following experience is a plus: BaaN/SSA-LN software, Microsoft suite of tools and clustered databases, Quest database tools, Oracle Grid Control/DataGuard technologies.
