MECHANICAL DESIGN PRODUCT ENGINEER

Purpose: Our client is a recognized leader in the Aircraft and Aerospace Tool Industry. Their products have been used on virtually every Defense System, Aircraft Program, Land or Sea Going Transport System, Space Exploration Program, and in many other types of manufacturing and support activities. The Orlando facility is involved in recalibrating tools to meet FAA requirements.

We are looking for a Mechanical Product Design Engineer with 5 or more years of experience in the design of manual, pneumatic and hydraulic tools for connectors, wiring, fasteners, and fiber optic applications. Autocad 2004+ and Inventor program proficiency is required. The right Candidate should have a familiarity with manufacturing methods (machining, metal fab, assembly, die casting, etc.).

It is very important that you have product design experience with the following products or something very similar to these:
Aircraft Tooling Kits to support aircraft wiring systems
Crimp Tools for wiring systems onto conductors
Adapter and Torque tools
Wire strippers
Clamp tools
