MANUFACTURING PROJECT ENGINEER (Chemicals)

Our confidential client, a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, is seeking an experienced engineer to be responsible for chemical processing and project work in their plant located in the Houston, Texas area.

They are seeking an engineer to be responsible for all aspects of process and project engineering, including process development and improvement, scale-up and troubleshooting.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:
Provide technical support for the manufacturing plant.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, and make recommendations for modifications.
Implement plans for process improvements.
Lead projects to install and start-up new equipment
Participate in new product scale-up
Participate in the planning for and implementation of capital projects associated with new processes and process improvement
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
3+ years experience in chemical production
