MANAGER - MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

LEADING MANUFACTURER OF DURABLE PRODUCTS FOR THE OIL & GAS INDUSTRY REQUIRES A DYNAMIC MANAGER TO LEAD THEIR MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING OPERATIONS & PROCESSES.KEY ROLE REPORTING TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT, WITH RESPONSIBILITY FOR MANUFACTURING PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT AND RELATED PROCESSES, INCLUDING CAPITAL EXPENDITURE PROJECTS & PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES.EXCELLENT COMPENSATION PACKAGE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WITH STABLE AND PROGRESSIVE CAREER PATH.COMPENSATION INCLUDES VERY COMPETITIVE BASE (D.O.E.), BONUS, AND BENEFITS PACKAGE.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversees the manufacturing work order system, following all work instructions, specifications and procedures as required.- Develops, controls and reviews all manufacturing process standards & criteria, as well as all product and process specifications, including special manufacturing process documents to technically support production.
- Leads the manufacturing process of new products, with participation in productivity benchmarking.- Reviews and updates the strategic capital expenditures plan. Prepares capital expenditure projects for approval, and assigns, schedules and closely monitors performance.- Responsible for Management of CNC machine programming function and supporting documents.- Oversees tool crib operation and its inventory, and researches new tool technology for improved performance and cost efficiencies- Designs machine modification and recommends proper utilization of machines, tools and equipment.- Generates product drawings from source and controls all product and tooling drawings and associated documents.
- Ensures compliance with all safety standards, company rules, policies and procedures in both current and new processes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar- Managerial or Supervisory experience in Manufacturing Engineering with strong Project Management skills- Background must include experience and knowledge of CNC technology, tool design, fixture design, CNC controls,CAD-CAM system and CNC machine programming methods.- Strong leadership skills to meet defined goals, objectives and deadlines- Proven problem solving skills with an ability to critically analyze and assess operational situations to determine and implement critical solutions- Solid team building and motivational skills, with clear communication abilities, both oral and written.- Strong commitment to perform the task at hand, and able to organize and prioritize work load of staff to meet scheduled deadlines.- Able to interact successfully with vendors & suppliers and establish parameters of performance that will hold them accountable for results.FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION PLEASE FORWARD WORD FORMAT RESUME TO: [Click here for email]Thank you !Dunhill Professional Search
