MAINTENANCE MANAGER - CHEMICALS

CHEMICAL, PETROCHEMICAL, REFINERY & PHARMACEUTICAL RECRUITERS

Will direct and coordinate the activities of a Maintenance Department, includeing developing cost control/budget forecasting for departments, establishing procedures for staying within budget on fixed costs, and directing and monitoring on-site maintenance contractor’s activities and workflow. Incumbent ensures equipment reliability by following good maintenance practices in repairs, inspections, preventive & predictive maintenance, and follows the appropriate standards for new equipment installations. Manager plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations through enhanced equipment reliability, thus minimizing operating costs. Participates in planning for any unit turnaround or multiple day shut downs to coordinate repair, maintenance and installation of equipment to maximize the number of jobs completed within timeframe.
REQUIREMENTS
Degreed Engineer and 9+ years experience in industrial chemical production setting, and familiarity with related chemical processes, including safety and environmental regulations and standards.
