Licensed Stationary Engineer Lead

The Position:

City of Hope National Medical Center's Engineering Department is looking for a licensed Stationary Engineer Lead to work in Central Plant. Role involves monitoring condition of equipment and machine rooms, quality assurance, training, working with vendors for bids and proposals, adequate resolution of work orders and ensuring safe working conditions. Will perform duties of stationary engineer in addition to supervisory duties involving overseeing all utility billing, air conditioning contracting, reporting, and managing subordinate engineering staff assigned to Central Plant.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires 5 years experience in operation & maintenance of gas-fired boilers, chillers & associated equipment, experience with JCAHO & similar regulatory agencies, as well as valid LA County USEL, Calif. DL & clean DMV record.
